Brief conversation continued from the last meeting about strengthening the structure/content for WOC. Additional input from members is welcome! Thanks to Geno for help in consolidating the following ideas:
a. WOC meetings to take place 2x/quarter (e.g., ~ weeks 3 &7), possibly 90 minutes’ duration
b. Content to include (but not limited to) the following: continuing education (e.g., areas of member expertise, updates in best practice, emerging issues on campus, etc.); professional conference presentations and/or debriefs; departmental updates and collaboration opportunities; and more
c. Member departments are expected to formalize participation with commitment to attend or send a representative to the majority of meetings; and to present once each academic year in any of the areas listed above.
